Winning the Manager of the Year award is a significant acknowledgement not only of my efforts but also of the entire Granát Turnov team. I am deeply grateful for the nomination and for being a finalist in such a prestigious competition. It is a great honour and a tremendous motivation for the future.
I view this award as proof that traditional industries, like Czech garnet mining, processing, and jewellery production, can be both modern and successful. This achievement is the result of a team that shares values like honest manual work, respect for tradition and craftsmanship, and a desire to explore new directions.
I view obstacles as part of the journey; they help us grow. In managing people, I prioritise values like fairness, transparency, responsibility, trust, teamwork, and loyalty. I advocate for digitalisation and modern technologies to streamline processes. Even in traditionally conservative fields, there is room for creativity and growth.
Beyond our achievements, I value the commitment to developing a brand that merges the tradition of jewellery craftsmanship and Czech heritage with modern design and sustainability. I believe Granát Turnov’s story demonstrates that tradition and innovation can coexist harmoniously, and the Czech garnet remains a symbol of love and beauty, inspiring future generations.
