One of the largest employers in the Moravian-Silesian Region, the IT company TietoEVRY, has joined in the building development project Organica, which will be built in the heart of Ostrava. Organica represents a new trend of using nature-inspired architecture to create intelligent, environmentally-friendly office spaces. TietoEVRY is bringing the global concept of the future of work, called ‘Upgrading working life’, to the Czech Republic.
“The pandemic has shown that employees are comfortable working remotely or from home and would like to use this option even after the pandemic is over,” says Petr Lukasík, CEO of TietoEVRY Czech . “At the same time, however, an internal survey showed that people miss working closely with colleagues, meeting together and having discussions that stimulate creativity. This key attribute cannot be perfectly replicated in an online environment, and the need for change has become imperative. We are addressing the transition to a modern working environment globally as part of our ‘Upgrading working life’ strategy. In our Ostrava headquarters, we have, therefore, taken the fi rst step towards fulfi lling this strategy with the Organica project. We listen carefully to our employees, and our goal is to create a work environment tailored to their needs. All employees will directly have a chance to infl uence the design of all interiors,” concludes Petr Lukasík.
