Ondřej Wysoglad’s entire professional life is connected with human resources. He has worked for multinational
recruitment agencies with a Central European presence. He is ready to give professional advice and off ers
a human approach. Since the beginning of 2020, he has been the CEO of the Manuvia recruitment agency.
You have been in HR for quite a long time, and you certainly have a good idea of the workforce requirements of managers in companies. Are agency workers welcome, and what is their advantage?
The demand for labour is constantly increasing in companies, and our customers convince us every day that they are interested in agency workers, often thanks to their fl exibility. In addition, for many companies, the supply of labour and recruitment is not a core business, so working with an agency brings benefits such as overlap with foreign markets and quality of recruitment. We expect that the demand for agency workers will definitely increase given the low unemployment rate in the Czech Republic.
Can you still provide agency workers from abroad in today’s post-COVID era?
Yes. Agency workers from abroad make up a large part of our portfolio. We have offices in several countries both inside and outside the European Union. However, recruitment from abroad is taking longer to secure, mainly due to “COVID measures” in each country. Therefore, we plan the entire process well in advance so that we can meet our commitments and the client is satisfied.
Many companies are investing in innovation, and this requires an educated workforce. Can you offer it?
At the moment, there is a shortage of skilled labour across the whole spectrum of the labour market in the Czech Republic. However, thanks to our vast branch network and our presence abroad, we are able to provide our clients with
workers.
Thank you for the interview.
