EnMass Ltd. is a consulting company that offers services in the energy sector, concentrating on energy savings and sustainability. It aids companies and the public sector in transforming their energy systems to achieve measurable outcomes – such as savings, stability, and operational efficiency. Managing Director Petr Nevřela explains how EnMass transforms the complexities of the energy sector into tangible value for clients.

The strategic topics in the industry today are the modernisation of the heating industry, energy savings and decarbonisation. Can EnMass provide services to support these initiatives, and if so, what are they?
Certainly, at EnMass, we have long been dedicated to these areas. We assist our clients throughout the entire transformation process, starting with a detailed analysis of energy management, designing specific energy-saving and modernisation strategies, implementing these measures, and then tracking the outcomes.

We prioritise making sure that each measure delivers a tangible benefit, whether that means lowering consumption, enhancing stability, or meeting emissions goals. In the district heating sector, we integrate traditional systems with smart controls and renewable energy sources. In the industrial sector, we develop solutions that cut operating costs while also equipping companies to handle future regulatory and economic challenges.

Tracking energy savings is essential for customers looking to enhance their energy systems. Your company creates software capable of performing this task. What functionalities does this software offer?
A key advantage of our software solution is that it delivers clear proof of actual savings achieved, offering verified data rather than just estimates. The system gathers and analyses operational data in real time, enabling precise comparisons between the current situation and a reference period before the upgrade.

The system tracks all energy usage, identifies inefficient operations, assesses deviations, and automatically recommends improvement measures. Crucially, it goes beyond monitoring by assisting with consumption management and active optimisation. Customers can pinpoint where savings are occurring and use the data for their own management purposes, as well as for subsidy applications or ESG reports. Additionally, it provides tools for asset registration, contract management, revision monitoring, and managing service deadlines.

Your solution results in lower energy consumption and enhanced safety. Can you also offer recommendations for external financing?
I am confident we can. Often, a crucial factor for implementation is the ability to finance the project through external sources, and we actively assist our customers with this.

We offer expert assistance in preparing applications for funding from national and European sources, like the Modernisation Fund or OP TAK. Additionally, we can suggest appropriate financing options through credit instruments or propose structuring a project as an EPC, with a savings guarantee that ensures the investment is repaid through the energy savings achieved.

Our aim is consistently to offer a solution that makes sense technically and is economically feasible.

Thank you for the interview.
